Description
The Ledger Nano S is a hardware wallet, the safest way to store your cryptocurrencies. It features a secure chip which generates your private keys offline and ensures they never leave the device. Your accounts are backed up using a passphrase; as long as you write this down and store it safely, you cannot lose your money even if the device breaks or is lost.
The Ledger Nano S has an inbuilt display for an easy to use experience and using the provided USB cable, it works with any computer running Google Chrome. Over 25 cryptocurrencies are currently supported, including Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin.
Upon use, Ledger’s software checks the authenticity of the device to ensure it has not been tampered with, this is the reason why Ledger doesn’t seal the boxes. More information on this can be found on Ledger’s official blog.
